International Boccia Event Wigan July 2008
There is an International Boccia event at Robin Park Wigan on the 26 and 27 July 2008 The event has attracted 12 countries,and is the largest Boccia event in the the UK for over 25 years. We will have approx 100 wheelchair athletes and 140 support staff etc. We need volunteers for various duties, timekeeping,line judges, stewarding etc.
The event hours are 800hrs to 1900hrs Saturday 26th July and 800hrs to 1700hrs on Sunday 27th July 2008.
The following countries are competing:- Belgium,, Canada, Czech Republic, England, Great Britain, Holland, Ireland, Portugal,Scotland, Slovak Republic, Spain and Wales. If any interested volunteers can speak one of the foreign languages it would be helpful.
