Get Connected

Get Connected Pilot Feedback Form

To take part in the Get Connected Pilot Evaluation we would like you to register yourself as a volunteer – you can do this whether you are already volunteering or not.  Please visit http://gc.sportsvolunteeringnw.org to start.

Get Connected also enables you to log your volunteering hours, experience and personal development online – if you are a current volunteer then you can try this section out too!

We really appreciate your help; if you get stuck or would prefer to feed back to us over the telephone then we’d be happy to hear from you.

Feedback Form

1. About the System, what did you think of creating your volunteer profile?  (Think about how long it took you, what did you think about the information you were asked to provide? Was there anything that wasn't clear to you or you would like to add?)
2. Your IT Skills and using the system.  (How easy / hard was it for you to find things?  Was there anything that wasn't clear, were the help bubbles useful or is there some futher guidance that would have helped you?)
3. Would you use Get Connected? (Yes / No - If no, whynot? What could we change to make you want to use it?)

Whilst Looking at the Sysytem - this part works best if you can see / have seen the site

4. On the left hand side of the screen there are links to different pages and documents.  Is this the kind of information you think people will need?  If not, what would you recommend adding / removing?

5. Did you have any questions about Get Connected or volunteering that weren't answered on the site (including the FAQ's)?  Please feedback what they were no matter how small they may seem.
6. The presentation - do you like the layout, colours and format of the site?

Volunteer Journaling

The journal section has been developed to allow volunteers to keep a record of experiences. This will help Get Connected build up an accurate profile of how much time volunteers give and the experiences they gain. The journal could also help create a passport or CV for volunteers for employment or for events like 2012.

7. Would you use the journaling site as it exists now? If yes, what kind of things would you want to record and why?

7b. If no, what would make you want to use the journaling site?
8. What incentives or accreditation do you think should be given to volunteers who use the online journal?  Any ideas are welcome.
9. What would make you keep coming back to the online journal?
Thank you very much for your help and your feedback it will really help us to make sure Get Connected is relevant to all volunteers and can be used all across the North West.
