Why I became a Board Member
Cedric's involvement in sport over the last 40 years has been as a competitive sailor at national and international level. He started as a dinghy sailor and moved on to offshore cruiser racing over a 35 year period. He is a holder of 3 National Championships.
For 30 years he has been an active volunteer as his club's secretary, treasurer, committee member, for his Governing Body he has beenRegional Chairman, National Deputy Chair. Cedric is also a Director of CCPR and Director of CCPR Enterprises. He has continued to be involved in these many roles due to his deep and committed interest in the sport.
Cedric believes supporting sports volunteers is important as all sports depend on their volunteers for the continuation of their activities and to include non competitors in an active way.
