Qualifications and Experience
I studied Sport, Coaching and Exercise Science at
Manchester Metropolitan University,
Cheshire. During my time at University I provided Sport Science Support for British Paralympic swimmers and the Great Britain Modern Pentathlon team. This opened up an opportunity for me to volunteer at the 2004 Australian Swimming Nationals held at Sydney Olympic Park where I spent 2 and a half weeks volunteering for the Australian Institute of Sport.
I have worked closely with Crewe and Nantwich Borough Council on a variety of Swimming projects and development of a Junior Netball Club. In 2006 I took up the position as Middlesex Netball Development Officer for England Netball, working throughout
London. In January 2008 I left this position to become a part of the Sports Development Team at the
University of Manchester.
