Qualifications and Experience

I went to LeedsMetropolitanUniversity from 2000-2003 to study Physical Activity, Exercise and Health. That is where my Sports Development career began as I was employed as an Athletics Coach at Carnegie and delivered sessions on a weekly basis.

 

Following graduating from University I was employed by Oldham Metropolitan Borough Council as an Assistant Sports Development Officer. My role included delivering sessions as part of a community programme and also managing Holiday Programmes and the Coach Education Programme. I left Oldham in October 2004 to start my new job at Wigan as a Sports Development Manager.
