Bernard Clarke
Bernard is the Manager of the Manchester Institute of Sport and Physical Activity (MISPA) based in Manchester Metropolitan University (MMU). MISPA is a centre that brings together expertise in measuring the positive impact sport and physical activity can have on volunteering, health, education and social inequalities to inform policy and practice.
He is also the founding Chair of 'Volunteering Manchester', a new organisation aiming to resource a volunteer support service for Manchester and a member of the Manchester Volunteering Community Network. His past work experience include establishing a volunteer service in MMU and voluntary sector roles in children's work, training, youth justice, supported housing and community development.
