Carole Hassan
Carole Hassan is Vice Chair of the North West Regional Sports Board. She currently works as Chief Executive of Local Government Yorkshire and Humber and has been Chief Executive of two local authorities Trafford MBC and WatfordBC. Prior to this she was Director of Neighbourhood Services in Harlow managing a portfolio of services which included Leisure, Community and Housing services,Corporate policy and strategy as well Neighbourhood services.
She has a Masters in Urban Planning and Economics and a background in Teaching ,Community Development and playleadership.
She recently chaired the Development Board for the single professional body for Leisure and Sport and was a member of the Whitbread Inquiry into engaging excluded young people through Sport,Art and Culture.
In a voluntary capacity Carole is a Director of Altrincham Football Club and
Independent Board member of Golden Gates Housing ALMO. She is a season ticket holder at Everton Fc and Wigan Warriors and is a Member of Lancashire Cricket Club.
