An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic and innovative individual to join our successful Sports Development Team.

We are seeking to recruit a committed team player with excellent communication skills and the energy to take forward and deliver Club Development Initiatives across Wirral.

The post holder will be responsible for the ongoing development of the Wirral Sports Forum providing a high quality service to its Executive Committee and member clubs with particular emphasis on promoting good practice including Clubmark to as many clubs as possible.

The Development Officer will be responsible for supporting, developing and increasing the capacity of the club and infrastructure within Wirral, leading to increased opportunities for participation in sport and physical activity.

Essential criteria include:
Level 2 coaching or sports leadership award in at least one sport. Experience of working with statutory/voluntary bodies including volunteers. Experience of community sports work and outreach projects with local groups.
