Judo
The British Judo Association is the governing body of the sport judo and is responsible for the management and delivery of the sport throughout the country, whether this be coaching, officiating or administering the sport. None of this can be achieved without the vast number of volunteers already involved within British judo from grass root level to performance.
Volunteers are the lifeblood of sport and judo cannot sustain the development of juniors, clubs, coaching and competitions without this willing workforce. To support the development of the current volunteer workforce development the BJA have recently completed a Volunteer Toolkit including the Volunteer Strategy which will help develop its current volunteer workforce and seek to include more volunteers to support the growth within the sport.
