This course helps you to implement practical steps to improve your policies and procedures around personal safety for your volunteers and clients.  It includes managing aggressive behaviour, working out and about, home visits and safer travelling.

Pre-16 peer mentor co-ordinator training

This one day training course is aimed at practitioners within the education sector working within Key Stage 3/4 who wish to set up a peer mentoring programme to support students who may be facing barriers to their learning. The course is aimed at introducing practitioners to peer mentoring and the programme co-ordination.


Post-16 peer mentor co-ordinator training

20 th November 2008, Conference Centre at LACE, Liverpool

This one day training course is aimed at practitioners working within Further and Higher Education, as well as those providing support services for young people within the voluntary and community sectors. The course is aimed at introducing you to peer mentor programme co-ordination and provide you with core resources for training and supporting your peer mentors.
