Volunteers Week 2008
Volunteers' Week (1-7 June) is the UK's annual celebration of the work volunteers do. During the Week events are held across the country to recognise, reward and recruit volunteers. To find out more about what is happening in your area visit the Volunteers Week website.
To recognise the importance of volunteers in sport we are going to highlight different aspects and experiences of volunteering each day this week.
To start the week off we are looking at online support for volunteers. Sports Volunteering North West is currently piloting it's brand new Volunteer and Opportunity matching service for sport, Get Connected and we would really like to hear from you what you think about it so far.
Your feedback
This brand new project is still being fine tuned. We need your feedback to make sure Get Connected works where it is most needed.
We are now focusing on the opportunity registration, volunteer registration and journaling side of Get Connected.
