Volunteers Week 2008
Volunteers' Week (1-7 June) is the UK's annual celebration of the work volunteers do. During the Week events are held across the country to recognise, reward and recruit volunteers. To find out more about what is happening in your area visit the Volunteers Week website.
To recognise the importance of volunteers in sport we are going to highlight different aspects and experiences of volunteering each day this week.
Today Sports Volunteering North West would like to say a big thank-you to all the high level Volunteers that are involved in sport, starting with our very own Board - you can meet them all by clicking here.
Without all the people who give up their time to be Chairpersons, Finance Officers, Company Secretaries - the list could be endless, Sport would grind to a halt.
